Big Roaring River Lake Campground sits at 7,900 feet in a dense lodgepole pine forest near the East Fork Roaring River, surrounded by subalpine lakes and the Boise Mountains. The site offers 12 campsites and a hand-carry launch for canoes or small craft. North and south trailheads access the Upper Roaring River, William H. Pogue National Recreation Trail, and Lava Mountain Trail, which connect to three lakes and nearby Trinity Mountain.
