Dent Acres Campground sits in the forested mountains above the 54-mile-long Dworshak Lake in northern Idaho. The facility features 50 pull-through and back-in campsites equipped with full hookups (water, 30/50-amp electric, and sewer), fire pits, and covered picnic tables. On-site amenities include flush toilets, showers, a playground, a 75-person sun shelter, a boat ramp, a fish cleaning station, and trash dumpsters. Outdoor enthusiasts use the site to access surrounding public hunting lands, local hiking trails, and reservoir fishing for kokanee salmon and bass.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

The Dworshak Reservoir shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Most sites here have an electric hookup -- 2 sit on the water, most of them shaded. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. Aldermand Ridge stands 2,063 ft above the site, 5.2 miles northwest. The nearest town, Orofino, is 9.6 mi off.

September normals 4778°F, 1.1″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
