Steel Creek Group Campground sits among willow and pine trees next to a small stream, offering mountain views 35 miles northeast of Dubois. The site accommodates up to 200 people with a shared parking lot next to a central dining area. Facilities include picnic and serving tables, a campfire circle, grill, drinking water, and vault toilets. Visitors use the site as a base for trail hiking, mountain biking, ATV riding, hunting, and stream fishing. Basic services are available nine miles away in Kilgore.

Getting there: From Dubois, Idaho: Travel north on I-15 to the Stoddard Creek Exit (Exit 184). Go east on West Camas-Miners Creek Road (FR 006) for approximately 14 miles to Steel Creek Road (FR 478), turn right and continue 0.75 miles to the campground entrance. From the Kilgore Store: Travel west/northwest approximately 8.25 miles on the West Camas-Miners Creek Road (FR 006) to Steel Creek Road (FR 478), turn left and continue 0.75 miles to the campground entrance.
