Setting
Falls Campground sits at 5,100 feet beside the Snake River in Swan Valley, 45 miles east of Idaho Falls. One group site accommodates up to 150 people. Vault toilets, potable water, and trash collection provided. Fall Creek Falls, a 60-foot waterfall, lies less than a quarter-mile away. Snake River offers cutthroat trout fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Open late May through early September. Reservations via recreation.gov.
Getting there: From Idaho Falls, travel 45 miles east on Highway 26. Turn off right before the Snake River Bridge and continue 3.5 miles on a gravel road to the campground.
