Calamity in ID -- Campground & RV Camping in Idaho

Calamity Campground sits at 5,700 feet on a hillside overlooking the northern end of Palisades Reservoir. The facility offers gravel sites across three loops, partially shaded by lodgepole pine, spruce, fir, aspen, and maple trees. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with a grill, supported by vault toilets, drinking water, and trash collection. An on-site boat ramp and large parking lot provide access for powerboating, canoeing, and trout fishing, while the nearby Palisades Creek Trail leads hikers and riders up to Upper Palisades Lake and the Swan Valley.
