Grayback Campground is set on a ponderosa pine hillside above State Highway 21, two miles south of historic Idaho City. The grounds offer shaded sites with access to Mores Creek just below the hill for rainbow trout fishing. Hikers can take the 1-mile Grayback Loop Trail directly from the site, or explore broader multi-use trail networks just north of town.
