Beaver Creek Cabin in ID -- Campground & RV Camping in Idaho

Beaver Creek Cabin is a 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps structure set at 5,100 feet elevation in the Boise Mountains. The cabin sleeps four using two twin beds and a futon, heated by an indoor wood stove. Summer operations provide a kitchen with a propane stove, oven, seasonal refrigerator, running water, and an indoor bathroom with a flush toilet and shower. Winter access requires a 1.5-mile ski or snowshoe trip via the Pilgrim Trail, during which an outdoor vault toilet is used and water/electricity are unavailable. A 1-mile trail leads to Crooked River fishing spots.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.

Pilot Peak stands 2,903 ft above the site, 3.7 miles west. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a single-site campground. Cabins and shelters rather than pads -- most of them shaded. Whoop Um Up Creek runs 0.5 mi off. The nearest town, Robie Creek, is 29 mi off.
