Setting
Prairie Ridge Park sits on a high ridge between Buck Creek and Honey Creek on Lake Rathbun. The terrain combines enhanced prairie grass with timbered draws and woodland hillsides. The campground features 54 large campsites split across two separate loops, supported by two shower houses, drinking water, and two RV dump stations. On-site facilities include a playground, a fish cleaning station, and a protected boat ramp with a courtesy dock. An eight-mile hiking and biking trail connects the park to Honey Creek Resort.
Getting there: From Moravia, IA, travel 4 miles west on Highway J18, then south 2.5 miles on 200th Avenue (gravel). Follow signs into campground.
