Whitetail Ridge Campground occupies a forested section of the western shore of West Point Lake along the Chattahoochee River. The park features 58 campsites equipped with water and electric hookups. On-site amenities include hot showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, and direct lake access for water sports and angling across 40 square miles of open water. Local footpaths connect to the Lakeside Trail for mountain biking, while public fishing piers, boat ramps, and a 10,000-acre wildlife management area sit nearby around the reservoir.
