Setting
Set deep in the Chattahoochee National Forest, Sarah's Creek Campground offers 22 rustic sites situated along mountain streams near the Chattooga Wild and Scenic River. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. The campground is equipped with two vault toilets and bear-resistant trash bins, but has no hookups. A water crossing lies inside the grounds near site 17. Outdoor recreation revolves around fishing the local creeks and hitting nearby routes like the Bartram, Chattooga River, 3-Forks, and Holcomb Creek trails.
Getting there: From Clayton, go east on Warwoman Raod for 11.6 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road 156 aka Sarah's Creek Road. Sarah's Creek Campground is approximately 2.2 miles ahead. The campground is broken up into 3 sections on that road.
