Old Federal Campground sits on the eastern shore of Lake Sidney Lanier in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills of northern Georgia. The park offers 65 campsites with electric and water hookups, 12 primitive tent sites, and seven walk-in sites. Facilities include bathhouses with restrooms, laundry equipment, a dump station, two picnic shelters, a boat ramp, and a swimming beach. The 38,000-acre lake provides space for boating, kayaking, wakeboarding, and fishing, with additional recreational options located nearby at Lake Lanier Islands.
