Lanier Park sits along the southern edge of Lake Lanier, located just north of Buford Dam in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills. The day-use area offers a designated swim beach, picnic sites, and restrooms. Visitors have access to water sports like kayaking, wakeboarding, and fishing for bass, catfish, and panfish. The park also provides access to the 3.5-mile Laurel Ridge Hiking Trail loop, which overlooks the lake and the Chattahoochee River.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
