West Bank Park sits on the shores of Lake Lanier in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills, just north of Buford Dam. This day-use area features a designated swim beach, a basketball court, a playground, picnic spots, and restrooms. It provides direct access to the 3.5-mile Laurel Ridge Hiking Trail loop, which overlooks the lake and Chattahoochee River. Visitors come to fish for bass, catfish, and panfish, as well as kayak, wakeboard, and swim in the 38,000-acre lake. Nearby attractions include public boat ramps and Lake Lanier Islands.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

The Lake Lanier shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Night skies measure Bortle 5 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. The nearest town, Sugar Hill, is 4.2 mi off.

September normals 6282°F, 4.2″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
