Winds through 25 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. A water crossing 21.3 miles in.
Toccoa River runs 0.2 mi off. A well-travelled stretch -- travellers have camped along here. Little John Dick Mountain stands 1,227 ft above the site, 1.7 miles south. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Blue Ridge, is 12 mi off.
