Cotton Hill Campground sits on the shore of Walter F. George Lake, an 85-mile stretch of the Chattahoochee River surrounded by hardwood forests along the Georgia-Alabama border. The lake offers hunting, wildlife viewing, and bank or boat fishing for bass, crappie, catfish, and bream. Facilities include 91 campsites with electric and water hookups, 10 primitive sites with electric and group water, flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, laundry, and a dump station. On-site features include two playgrounds, a first-come, first-served picnic shelter, a boat ramp, and a fish cleaning station.
