Boca Chita Campground in FL -- Campground & RV Camping in Florida

Boca Chita Key is a boat-access island in Biscayne National Park featuring waterfront grassy camping, picnic tables, grills, and flush toilets. There is no drinking water, sinks, showers, trash pickup, or electricity on the island. A 65-foot historic lighthouse built in the 1930s stands on the grounds alongside a 0.5-mile hiking trail that runs from the restrooms to the south end near a pavilion. The boat harbor entrance has a four-foot depth at low tide, and swimming inside the harbor is prohibited.

Getting there: Boca Chita Key is only accessible by boat. Use of a nautical chart and/or GPS is recommended for safe navigation.
