This 376-acre park of rolling, wooded hillsides sits east of the Anacostia River in Washington, D.C. It features three reservable picnic areas: Randle Circle Sites A and B, which include picnic tables, grills, restrooms, and a playground; and the Lanham Estates site, which offers a covered picnic shelter, fireplace, and open grassy space. The park encompasses historic Civil War earthwork remnants of Fort Dupont and provides direct access to the 7-mile Fort Circle Parks Hiker-Biker Trail. Nearby attractions include the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site and Anacostia Park.
