Mueller State Park spans 5,117 acres in Teller County with dramatic Pikes Peak granite formations rising above spring-fed meadows, dense conifer and aspen forests, and rolling grasslands with striking rock outcroppings. The park offers 138 campsites and 44 miles of hiking trails through mixed forest, montane grassland, and wetland habitats. Wildlife includes black bears, beavers, gray foxes, and 158 bird species. The visitor center operates daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
