All 4.1 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (4.1 miles). Climbs 1,800 ft over 4.1 miles -- sustained grades near 16%, with pitches to 19%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~140 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 3 switchbacks. Water crossings 0.9, 1, 1.3, 1.4, 1.7, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and 2.7 miles in.
