Brewery Creek Guard Station is a historic 1935 two-room cabin set in a dense aspen grove at 9,500 feet in the Rio Grande National Forest. Located near the historic silver mining town of Bonanza, the cabin sleeps nine people on bunk beds and includes propane-powered heating, lighting, a stove, and a refrigerator. Outside, the site features a picnic table, fire pit, vault toilet, and hand-pump water. A nearby creek with active beaver dams offers trout fishing, while surrounding trails accommodate summer hiking and off-road vehicles, fall hunting, and winter snowmobiling.
