Reservoir-fed campground on a 1,101-acre lake 27 miles north of Steamboat Springs, surrounded by lodgepole pine and aspen forest with sagebrush flats. Willow and marsh areas host sandhill cranes and abundant waterfowl. Marina with boat ramps, picnic areas, and hiking trails. Created in 1967 for water storage, the park opened to the public in 1972.
