Setting
North Fork Campground is set in an aspen grove at 7,800 feet, positioned above the North Fork White River valley in the White River National Forest. The campground offers 28 standard campsites suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Facilities include vault toilets and drinking water, with firewood available on-site; no electric hookups exist. Directly across from the site, the North Fork of the White River provides fly fishing for trout, while nearby forest roads and trails accommodate off-highway vehicles and hikers.
Getting there: Take I-70 west of Denver, Colorado, to Rifle. Take Highway 13 to Meeker, and turn on Country Road 8 for 32 miles. Turn left into North Fork Campground.
