Chapman Campground sits in White River National Forest at the base of a wide valley next to the Fryingpan River, just above Ruedi Reservoir. Shaded by lodgepole pine, it offers 84 standard sites with picnic tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water across loops F, G, and H, plus a separate group site with food lockers and fire rings. The site features an on-site nature trail, horseshoe pits, and a volleyball court, with direct access to Gold Medal trout fishing on the Fryingpan River and non-motorized boating on Chapman Reservoir.
