Roberts Cabin is a restored 1880s two-story log structure located at the base of Boreas Pass in Pike National Forest. The site includes the main cabin, which sleeps up to 10 across five double beds and a futon, and the small detached Schwartz Cabin, which holds a full and twin bed. Both feature full-sized wood stoves for heat. A single outdoor vault toilet and parking for four vehicles are on-site. There is no running water, electricity, or cookware provided. The Colorado Trail passes nearby, and the historic town of Como sits down the pass.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
Little Baldy Mountain stands 1,891 ft above the site, 1.2 miles southwest. Cabins and shelters rather than pads -- most of them shaded. South Tarryall Creek runs 0.5 mi off. The nearest town, Blue River, is 8.6 mi off.
