Setting
Riverside Campground sits at 8,000 feet in Eleven Mile Canyon, located across Route 96 from the South Platte River. The site features nearly 20 reservable campsites with grass and gravel aprons fitting RVs up to 30 feet, alongside walk-in tent sites, vault toilets, picnic tables, and campfire rings; campers must bring their own drinking water. Visitors come to fly fish for trout, climb granite canyon walls, and hike the 1-mile Hard Rock Interpretive Trail leading to a canyon overlook.
Getting there: From Lake George, turn off Highway 24 onto County Road 96. Follow the road for about one mile. Turn right at Eleven Mile Canyon entrance. Riverside Campground is located on the left side, not far from Eleven Mile Canyon entrance.

- 11 hike-in sites, with most of them shaded.
- Stoll Mountain stands 1,802 ft above the map pin, 5.0 miles northwest.
