Morefield Campground sits four miles inside Mesa Verde National Park within a high-elevation canyon filled with Gambel oak and wildflowers. The facility features 267 campsites, each equipped with a gravel tent pad, picnic table, and fire pit with a barbecue grill. On-site amenities include a central camp store, firewood, gasoline, hot showers, a coin-operated laundromat, and a dog kennel. Wildlife like deer and wild turkeys frequently move through the grassy grounds.
