Mancos State Park centers on Jackson Gulch Reservoir, a 216-acre lake fed by the West Mancos River, with 32 campsites and 10 picnic sites spread across its 553 acres. Jurassic-age sandstone formations frame the landscape, surrounded by the majestic San Juan mountain range in the Four Corners region. The park offers 5.2 miles of trails for hiking and biking, a concrete boat ramp for water access, and year-round wildlife viewing including mule deer and diverse bird species.
