West Fork Campground covers 10 acres of mixed conifer forest near the West Fork San Juan River, just over a mile from Highway 160. The layout features single-family sites equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings, with most suitable for large RVs. Vault toilets and drinking water are available on site. Anglers fish the nearby West Fork and Wolf Creek, while hikers can travel one mile past the campground to access the West Fork Trail into the Weminuche Wilderness. Nearby attractions include the 100-foot drop of Treasure Falls.

0.5 of the 3.6 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 0.5 miles of dirt. Overhead clearance here is posted at 14 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit. Sits on broad, near-level ground.
