A 5,700-acre state park in Logan County's western High Plains, centered on the 2,880-acre North Sterling Reservoir. The landscape is shortgrass prairie with blue grama, buffalo grass, yucca, and rabbitbrush. The reservoir has three boat ramps and a swim beach; fishing includes walleye, wiper, channel catfish, largemouth bass, and yellow perch. Over 100 campsites spread across three campgrounds; facilities include a visitor center, dump station, picnic areas, and restrooms. The park offers boating, fishing, about 6 miles of hiking trails, and wildlife observation along the South Platte River corridor.
