Setting
Narrows Campground borders the Cache la Poudre River 32 miles northwest of Fort Collins, situated among ponderosa pines and aspens in a steep mountain canyon. The lower loop drops off sharply to the river's edge. Facilities consist of accessible single-family campsites, including eight walk-to tent sites, each equipped with a 12-by-15-foot tent pad, picnic table, and campfire ring with grill. On-site amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Nearby multi-use paths include the Mt. McConnel, Young Gulch, and William R. Kreutzer National Recreation trails.
Getting there: From Fort Collins, take Highway 14 northwest for 32 miles.
