Occupying 11 shaded acres above the Florida River, this campground was historically a transit hub for trading supplies between mule trains and wagons. The facility features 25 sites divided between two loops. The upper loop provides mostly level ground with larger individual sites, while the lower loop sits closer to the river and contains two large sites, several tent spots, short pull-through driveways, and open play areas.
