Pine Point Campground sits at an elevation of 7,900 feet along the shore of Vallecito Reservoir, surrounded by ponderosa pines with views of the San Juan Mountains. The loop offers single-family sites equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings, alongside vault toilets and drinking water. Many shaded sites sit right on the lakefront with direct water access. Facilities just south include a sheltered boat area and an open play field. Local trails, like the North Canyon and East Creek Trails, offer hiking, horseback riding, and access to fly-fishing streams.

All 0.4 miles in are maintained for passenger cars. Gravel the whole way in (0.4 miles). Overhead clearance here is posted at 12 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.
