North Canyon Campground sits at 7,900 feet under open ponderosa pine and aspen stands next to Vallecito Reservoir. The site offers single-family campsites with partial lake views, equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water, and vault toilets. Thickets of willow line the nearby shore. Visitors come to powerboat, canoe, and fish for trout, salmon, and pike on the lake. Nearby routes include the North Canyon Trail, which leads to a scenic lake overlook, and the East Creek Trail, though horses are not permitted inside the campground.
