Campground loop in Staunton State Park, a 3,988-acre mountain park with elevation ranging from 8,100 to over 10,000 feet. Upper montane forest of aspen, ponderosa pine, and Douglas fir. Dramatic Pikes Peak granite formations including Lions Head, Chimney Rock, and Staunton Rocks. Twenty-five campsites available for reservation, with multiple streams and 37 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Elk, martenss, and osprey resident.
