Buffalo Campground is located at 7,400 feet near Buffalo Creek in the Rocky Mountain Front Range, about an hour southwest of Denver. The facility provides single-family campsites—including tent-only options—equipped with accessible picnic tables, campfire rings, grills, and vault toilets. No hookups are available. The surrounding Buffalo Creek Recreation Area offers brook trout fishing along the creek and access to a 40-mile network of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The Colorado Trail provides a gateway into the Lost Creek Wilderness.
