A 24.2-mile stretch of dirt National Forest road in Huerfano County, CO. The road serves Black Mountain. The road is open seasonally, April 1 to November 30.

Pike and San Isabel National Forests, San Carlos Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 14-day limit in any 30 days. Camp at least 100 ft from water.

All 24.2 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (24.2 miles). Winds through 31 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Water crossings 8, 10.1, 10.5, 12.6, 23 and 23.9 miles in. Gates 10.5 and 22.8 miles in.
