First-come, first-serve campground at the junction of Soldier Creek and Blue Creek, overlooking a picturesque valley adjacent to the Uncompahgre Wilderness in the Gunnison Ranger District. Aspen and spruce forest setting. Vault toilets available; no potable water. Access via State Road 149 and Forest Road 868. Multiple hiking trails nearby lead toward the wilderness. Open mid-June through October. No fees.
