Setting
Located four miles southwest of Fraser at an elevation of 8,900 feet, St. Louis Creek Campground sits near the boundary of the Fraser Experimental Forest. The facility provides 18 non-electric single sites, each equipped with a picnic table, metal fire ring, and bear-resistant food locker. Shared amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, trash collection, and an on-site host. The campground acts as a base for hiking into the Vasquez and Byers Peak Wilderness areas via the nearby Byers Peak and St. Louis Lake trailheads.
Getting there: From Fraser, travel 4 miles southwest on County Road 73 (St. Louis Creek Road). The campground is located on the south side of the road.
