Setting
Green Ridge Campground sits at 8,300 feet between the southern shore of Shadow Mountain Reservoir and the Colorado River. The facility provides 79 non-electric single sites plus one double and one triple site, all outfitted with tent pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. Amenities include flush and vault toilets, drinking water, a boat ramp, and a dock. Campers can access local trails like the Continental Divide's East Shore Trail or go boating and fishing for salmon and trout. Rocky Mountain National Park's west entrance is located just north of Grand Lake.
Getting there: From the intersection of U.S. Highways 40 and 34 in Granby, travel north for 12 miles on Highway 34 to County Road 66 and go east one mile. Look for the Green Ridge Complex sign.
