Columbine Campground sits at 9,200 feet in an aspen and lodgepole pine forest off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, west of Denver. The facility has 46 non-electric sites spread across two loops on dirt interior roads, including five tent-only sites and 41 sites accommodating RVs or tents. Each campsite includes a picnic table, campfire ring, and grill. Shared amenities consist of vault toilets, water spigots, and trash pickup. Numerous jeep roads branch off from the campground, while nearby destinations include Golden Gate Canyon State Park and the historic mining town of Central City.
