Setting
Mollie B Campground sits at nearly 7,800 feet elevation on the shores of Ruedi Reservoir, 14 miles east of Basalt in White River National Forest. Surrounded by mixed conifer forest, the loop offers 27 standard sites for tents and RVs up to 40 feet, equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings. Facilities include flush toilets, drinking water, and an on-site boat ramp for reservoir swimming, water skiing, and boating. Downriver access to Gold Medal fly-fishing on the Fryingpan River and the 8-mile Ruedi Trail up Red Table Mountain are right nearby.
Getting there: Take I-70 west of Denver to Glenwood Springs Exit 116, Highway 82 to Basalt. At Basalt, take Frying Pan Road 15 miles to the Ruedi Complex Entrance. Take a right, then a left, and proceed to second campground.
