This mountain campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October, providing individual campsites for tents and travel trailers. On-site facilities include vault toilets and drinking water. The grounds sit alongside Ophir Creek, offering direct access to stream fishing as well as nearby trailheads for hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling, and ATV riding.

All 0.7 miles in are maintained for passenger cars. Gravel the whole way in (0.7 miles). Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
