Platoro Cabin 1 is a 1963 Forest Service structure situated at 10,000 feet in the San Juan Mountains within the town of Platoro, Colorado. The propane-powered layout includes a kitchen and living area, a bathroom with a flush toilet and shower, and sleeping space for up to six people across two bunk beds (single over foldout double). Guests must bring their own linens, food, and supplies. The cabin provides access to hiking in the South San Juan Wilderness and fishing at Platoro Reservoir.
