The campground offers 32 sites spread across three loops: lighter ponderosa woods in Loops A and B, and dense spruce, aspen, and fir along the fast-flowing river in Loop C. Facilities include vault toilets and drinking water, but no hookups. Just upstream lies a designated Gold Medal trout fishing section of the river, and the Sheep Creek Trail is nearby. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is accessible down the canyon.
