Angel of Shavano Group Campground sits at 9,200 feet along the North Fork South Arkansas River in an aspen and pine forest. A section of the 487-mile Colorado Trail originates within the campground. Nearby spots include beaver ponds, trout fishing in the river, North Fork Reservoir, and the Monarch Crest Scenic Tramway.
