Kelly Dahl Campground sits at 8,600 feet along the Peak-to-Peak Scenic Byway. Situated on a gentle slope among ponderosa pines, the site offers little shade due to hazard tree removal. The facility contains 46 single-family sites for tents and RVs along a dirt and gravel road, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire grill. On-site amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, trash service, and a children's playground. Closed roads around the loops provide walking paths, while the West Magnolia and East Portal trailheads are a short drive away.

Getting there: From Denver, go north on Interstate 25 to US Highway 36 west to Boulder. Take Colorado Highway 119 (Canyon Boulevard) west for 22 miles to Nederland. Continue south for 4 miles to the campground.
