Windsurf Beach provides waterfront camping on Navajo Lake, Colorado's 15,000-acre reservoir straddling two states with 150 miles of shoreline. The lake is fed by the San Juan and Piedra rivers and ringed by scenic mesas, canyons, and sagebrush-covered slopes. The setting supports diverse recreational activities from boating to fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, northern pike, and rainbow and kokanee salmon. Wildlife viewing includes raptors, mule deer, otters, and bald eagles.
