This boat-in campground on Bullards Bar Reservoir sits along steep, forested slopes at 2,000 feet elevation on the North Yuba River. Accessible only by water, campers launch from the Dark Day boat launch (one mile away) or Cottage Creek at Emerald Cove Marina (three miles away). The shaded lakefront sites provide a launchpad for year-round warm- and cold-water fishing, boating, water skiing, and paddling, with direct access to local non-motorized trail systems including the 14-mile Bullards Bar Trail.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
The New Bullards Bar Reservoir shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Mostly tent-only sites -- 16 boat-in sites, most of them shaded. Summit Hill stands 1,168 ft above the site, 3.0 miles southwest. The nearest town, Nevada City, is 13 mi off.
