Pine Mountain Campground is located at an elevation of 6,650 feet, positioned high above the Sespe Wilderness amid Jeffrey pine, sugar pine, white fir, and chaparral. The facility consists of six campsites arranged in a circle around a central open space, equipped with picnic tables, fire rings or barbecue grills, and one pit toilet. Water is not available on site. The Boulder Canyon Trail (23W03) originates at the campground, while the Chorro Grande, Raspberry Spring, and Reyes Peak trailheads are located further up the road.
