Pinecrest Campground sits at 5,600 feet elevation near the southwest shore of 300-acre Pinecrest Lake in Stanislaus National Forest. Each campsite features a paved parking pad, picnic table, and campfire ring. Facilities include drinking water, utility sinks, and flush toilet restrooms, though no showers or RV hookups are available. The area is within walking distance of a day-use sandy swimming beach, a marina, an amphitheater, and a visitor center. The 4-mile Pinecrest Lake National Recreation Trail loops around the water, while Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort is nearby.
